This document presents the implementation of the Reform Agenda step establishing and operationalising two additional Sectoral Skills Committees in the fields of Agriculture and Energy/Green Skills to strengthen the alignment of vocational education and training (VET) with labour market needs. The committees were established through joint ministerial orders and became operational by holding meetings focused on sectoral skills needs, professional qualification structures and the adaptation of VET curricula.
The establishment of these committees strengthens cooperation between public institutions, employers and sector representatives by creating a structured mechanism for integrating labour market intelligence into vocational qualifications and training programmes. The reform contributes to making Albania’s VET system more responsive to labour market demand while supporting the development of digital and green skills required for the country’s economic transformation.
