Connecting 95% of Public Schools to High-Speed Broadband of at least 30 Mbps – Measure 2.1.4

This document presents the implementation of the Reform Agenda step to expand digital infrastructure in Albania’s public education system by providing high-speed broadband connectivity to at least 95% of public schools. In cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sports and electronic communications operators, the National Agency for Information Society (NAIS) connected 1,803 out of 1,858 public schools, achieving approximately 97% nationwide coverage and exceeding the target established under the Reform Agenda.

The investment strengthens the digital infrastructure of the education system and enables the nationwide use of digital education platforms and services, improving access to modern learning and supporting the development of digital skills among students and teachers. The reform contributes to the digital transformation of education and enhances the quality and accessibility of educational services across Albania.
