European Union Technical Assistance for Albania
The European Union supports Albania through a series of technical assistance projects designed to strengthen institutional capacities, improve the coordination of funds, and advance the reform agenda in line with the EU integration process.
Currently, three main initiatives implemented by SASPAC, in cooperation with international partners and national institutions, represent the pillars of this support:
EUIS (European Integration Support Instrument)
Focused on improving strategic planning and enhancing the capacities of the public administration, EUIS provides technical assistance to align national policies with EU standards and best practices.
EU4GG (Support for Good Governance)
This project aims to increase transparency, accountability and efficiency within the public administration by strengthening good governance processes and promoting broad engagement of societal stakeholders.
EUSFAM (Support for the Management of EU Financial Assistance in Albania)
EUSFAM is centred on improving communication and coordination of EU funds, ensuring that the Union’s financial assistance is used transparently, effectively and with a sustainable impact.
Overall, these technical assistance projects contribute directly to strengthening the state administration, accelerating the European integration process, and ensuring more efficient management of the European Union’s financial support in Albania.
